Crispy Oats crepe (dosa)

     1 cup broken oats

      1 cup rava

       1/2 cup rice flour

        1 tbsp curd

  • 1 tsp salt
  •  cup water
  • 1 chillifinely chopped
  • 1 inch gingergrated
  • 1 tsp peppercrushed
  • 1 tsp cumin / jeera
  • few curry leavesfinely chopped
  • 2 tbsp corianderfinely chopped
  •  water
  • oilfor roasting

  • In a large mixing bowl take 1 cup broken oats, 1 cup rava and ½ cup rice flour. Add 1 tbsp curd, 1 tsp salt and 2½ cup water. Mix well making sure there are no lumps. Add 1 chilli, 1 inch ginger, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tsp cumin, few curry leaves, 2 tbsp coriander leaves. Add 1½ cup water and prepare a watery consistency batter. 

  • Rest the batter for 20 minutes making sure the oats has absorbed water. The consistency should be watery. 

  • Pour the dosa batter over very hot dosa pan. Lower the flame and cook until the dosa turns golden and crisp. Fold it and place it on a plate. Crispy oats crepe/dosa is ready to serve
