Rumali Roti

  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Water to knead
  • oil or ghee - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice flour - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Wheat Flour (Atta) - 1 cup
  • Salt - 1 tsp

In a mixing bowl 🥣 add maida, rice flour and wheat flour. Add little oil or ghee to the dough. Add 1 tsp salt & water along with the flour little by little and knead to a soft dough. Keep it aside for 2 hours. Pinch one ball and roll it thinly dusting with the maida. Roll it with a pin to a very thin roti dusting maida often. Heat the tawa on a high flame and place the roti. Cook on both sides till slight brownish colour. Sprinkle ghee around the roti. Dont overcook the roti. Repeat it with all the dough. Fold it like a handkerchief or in triangle shape. Soft rumali rotis are ready to serve with malai kofthas.
