Mixture

Homemade Kara boondi - 1 cup

Homemade Omapodi - 2 cups 

  • Peanuts - 1/2 cup

  • Poha - 1 cup

  • Curry leaves - few

  • Cashewnuts - 1/4 cup (optional)

  • Asfoetida - a pinch

  • Gram dal - 1/4 cup

  • Chillie powder - 1 tbsp

  • Nuts(chopped almond, cashew, peas) - few

  • Fry the peanuts and curry leaves until crisp, drain in a tissue and set aside. Fry poha, gram dal separately until crisp. Add a pinch of salt, hing while frying. 

  • Fry the cashews. Drain the excess oil in a tissue, set aside. Take a newspaper and transfer all the ingredients. Add chillie powder and mix well. You can add the nuts and its purely optional.  Mix all the ingredients gently and the flavourful mixture is ready.
