Milk boli

Milk - 1 litre
Maida flour - 2 cups
Salt - a pinch
Almonds - 15 to 20
Sugar - 6 to 8 tsp
Oil for frying
Cardamom powder - a pinch

Soak the almonds overnight. You can also use hot water to soak for 1 hr and peel them. Grind the almonds to a fine paste.

Add milk in a pan. Add the almond paste and boil it. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Let it boil for further 10 minutes. The milk have become thick. Add saffron strands and switch off the stove.

Knead the maida flour by adding little by little water. Add one tsp oil, 1 tsp salt and knead it to a stiff dough. Divide into equal parts. Roll the dough to small puris. 

Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry the puris in medium heat. Transfer the puri to the hot milk. Do the same for rest of the puris. Let it soak in the milk for an hour. Garnish with cashews and badam. Yummy badam milk boli is ready.
