Tomato thokku
Tomato ginger thokku
Cut tomatoes into cubes. In a pan, add 1 tablespoon of gingelly oil. Splutter 1 tsp mustard and 1tsp add urid dal. When urid dal turns brown, add 1 cubed tomatoes. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric, aafoetida. Add 1 teaspoon of 🌶 chilli powder and mix well. Add 1 teaspoon of grated ginger and mix well. Let the tomato thokku cook for 10 minutes till the oil separates. Spicy tomato thokku is ready to serve.
