Tomato sevai


  • Cooked sevai - 2 to 3 cups
  • Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon / Pattai - 1 small piece
  • Onion - 1 large chopped finely
  • Ginger - 1 tsp grated
  • Green Chillie- 2 slits
  • Tomatoes - 3 chopped finely
  • Curry leaves - 1 sprig
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Instructions


  • Cook sevai. Heat oil in a kadai. 
  • Add onions, tomatoes, chillies, ginger and saute for a min. Now add few curry leaves, salt, chillie powder and mix well. Add 1/4 cup of water and cook on a low flame. Now add coked sevai and cook for 5 more minutes. Tangy tomato sevai is ready. Serve hot.
