Sweet & sour guava pickle

Guava is high in vitamin C and fibre, while being low in sugar and glycaemic index, making it ideal for people with diabetes. A single serving of guava has more than 6 times the vitamin C of an equivalent serving of orange! I use to make pickles from amla, lemon, garlic, mangoes etc. Gave a try out from guava which is a big hit. Everyone liked it particularly with curd rice. Tangy sweet & sour taste made it 😋 a lip smacking pickle. Give out a try and enjoy it with your meals.

Guava - 1 big

Chillie powder - 1 tsp

Asfoetida - 1ctsp

Salt to taste - 1 tsp

                         Take 1 big size guava
                           Cut into small pieces
Take them in a bowl
Add chillie powder, asfoetida and salt
                                   Mix well
Let it rest for a while
The juice from guava mix well with the chillie powder, asfoetida and salt
