Spongy orange vanila cake

Maida flour - 4 cups

Condensed milk - 1 cup

baking soda 2 tsp

baking powder 2 tsp

vanila essece 1 tsp

curd - 1 tablespoon

tutti frutti - few

Seive the maida flour.  Dust the pan with flour. Add condensed milk,.butter and mix well. Add crushed sugar, baking soda and baking powder.

Add vanilla essence and curd to the mix. Add tutti frutti and melon seeds (optional) to the mix. In a pressure cooker, add some salt and keep a stand. Above the stand, keep the cake batter. Remove the whistle. Cook for 45 mins in simmer. Check whether it is cooked. Spongy orange vanila cake ready. Cut into pieces.




                       Seive the maida flour. 


          Dust the pan with flour. Add seived.                     maida flour, condensed milk,.butter and.              mix well


      Add crushed sugar, baking soda and baking.        powder


Add vanilla essence and curd to the mix. Add tutti frutti and melon seeds (optional) to the mix



               Add some kesar colour and                                                      Mix well


                 Spread evenly the cake batter


In a pressure cooker, add some salt and keep a stand.  Above the stand, keep the cake batter. Remove the whistle. 

Cook for 45 mins in simmer. Check whether it is cooked. Spongy orange vanila cake is ready. Cut into pieces.


For frosting, beat milk, butter and sugar. Add cocoa powder and beat it in a mixer.



Choco frosting ready.



Slowly pour the choco frosting on top of vanila cake


Eggless spongy vanila cake with tutti frutti is ready to serve with hot tea or coffee.

Note: choco frosting is purely optional. If kids like choco taste you can do this method otherwise plain orange vanila cake can be cut and eat
