Cut mango pickle

Raw Mango - 1 

Gingely Oil – 2 tbsp

Mustard seeds – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

Chili Powder – 1 tsp

Asfoetida powder– 1 tsp

Salt to taste


Method :
Chop the Raw mango into small pieces. Discard the seeds. Heat gingely oil in a kadai, Once heated, add the mustard seeds. Let it crackle. Add hing. Add the cut mangoes. Add salt, chilliepowder and turmeric powder. Mix well. Let it cook till the oil separates on sides. The pickle tastes best with curd rice.
